DHA has recently rolled out a notice announcing important changes in the procedure of file opening of residential and commercial plots as well as DHA Homes in its project DHA Valley Islamabad.
According to the notice, following changes have been made in the procedure:
1- Name of original owner/current buyer will be written at the back of the open allotment certificate and the fee for this procedure will be charged as given below:
- 5 Marla Plot/Home or Shop: 500 PKR
- 8 Marla Plot/Home: 1000 PKR
- 4 Marla Commercial: 1000 PKR
- 8 Marla Commercial: 1500 PKR
2- Re-opening of issued allotment certificates is no longer required, and its fee will no longer be applicable.
3- Verification process for open allotment certificates will have no change, and its fee of 500 PKR will be applicable.
4- In case of loss or theft of open allotment certificate, only the original owner or the buyer whose name is written at the back of the open allotment certificate after paying the above-listed fee, will be eligible to reclaim his property from DHA. DHA will charge 20,000 PKR fee to address the claim.
