CDA to Expedite Work on 7th Avenue of Islamabad
CDA Chairman Mr. Aamer Ali Ahmed has personally ordered that the development work on the 7th Avenue Interchange must be expedited. He visited the site on Saturday and gave directions to speed up the development work on this project.
During his visit, he was briefed about the development progress and he was told that the section of the bridge including the underpass is complete, whereas the work on the loops from 7th Avenue towards Chand Tara Chowk is now in the final stages.
He has advocated a task to the developers to plant more greenery along the interchange to make it more appealing while making it sustainable for the environment. He asked them to identify the ideal locations for the plantation as they complete the work on the interchange.
CDA Chairman has clear instructions on preparing a detailed presentation on the project. It is an exemplary effort by the CDA Administration and the developers to work on this project day and night.
The start of this project was in October 2021 and the expected date of completion was in October 2022. But due to the CDA’s efforts, the project will be completed before due time on 14th August 2022.
This will reduce the problem of traffic congestion in the area and this interchange will benefit the adjacent areas since the traffic will be running smoothly. CDA Chairman has taken a keen interest in the entire development progress of this interchange at the 7th Avenue and it will soon be opened to the public.
