CDA Introduces Bye-Laws for Marriage & Event Halls and Marquees

CDA Planning Wing has formulated bye-laws and parameters for establishment of Marriage Halls, Event Halls and Marquees within the boundaries of Islamabad. This new policy applies to all existing as well as new construction of subject buildings within the capital limits.

CDA has specified minimum required land size, and other parameters for all new constructions of marriage halls and marquees, and specified the schedule of fee/charges for each applicant.

CDA Bye-laws For Marriage Halls

The authority has informed the general public including owners and operators of marriage halls/marquees to submit their applications along with particulars at CDA one window operations directorate, CDA complex, block 3, Sector G-7/4, Islamabad without any delay.

If you check the schedule of charges, CDA has levied a penalty of 500,000 + 5000 per day for delay on bringing existing structure in conformity to approved building plans.
