CDA Helpline 1819 Receives Tremendous Response

Capital Development Authority has received an unexpectedly high response rate from the citizens on the CDA helpline 1819. This helpline was aimed at the citizens of Islamabad who can now contact the civic authority for their complaints.

CDA got a tremendous response from the citizens as they cited their complaints using this helpline 1819. After signing a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Ufone, a dedicated helpline for CDA was provided to the citizens.

The helpline will be operational for 12 hours from 9 AM to 9 PM and the residents of Islamabad can call in between these working hours. The helpline will be open to all and there will no restriction on anyone calling from Islamabad regarding a complaint.

During the month of Ramadan, CDA has to closely monitor the prices in different parts of the city. Citizens can even call to complain about inflated prices and not displaying price lists in the markets.

Matters related to the property like excise and taxation, application status, and transfer, can also be discussed over the helpline. All the problems are duly heard and CDA responds accordingly.

CDA received a great response from the public because it is the first time that the communication barriers are lifted. This will set an example for the next administrations to follow so that the gap between the civic authorities and the public can be reduced.

The communication between CDA and the public will eventually solve the problems of the Federal Capital. And more people will be able to voice their concerns to the CDA.
