CDA Cancels NOC of Soan Gardens Housing Scheme Islamabad
CDA has cancelled NOC of Soan Gardens Housing Scheme Islamabad. The scheme is sponsored by civilian employees cooperative housing scheme (CECHS) Islamabad.
Due to repeated violations of terms of NOC despite warnings issued by CDA, the authority has finally decided to cancel its NOC. Notification has been issued to relevant departments and a notice is also uploaded on CDA's website.
As we already know, CECHS was involved in selling plots on the land reserved for amenities. Cancellation of NOC means that utilites like water, electricity and gas supplies can be disconnected until the society vows to abide by the terms of NOC.
Market prices of land will also be affected due to this development, so investors are recommended not to invest in soan gardens housing scheme until its NOC is restored.
