CDA’s Water Management Wing has allocated PKR 4 million for the maintenance of water tankers in the city. This amount is being allocated by the Capital Development Authority (CDA) to address the water complaints in Islamabad.

CDA has not only acquired 8 new vehicles to address this great problem as the summer season has started, but they are also working on the maintenance of the vehicles. The maintenance will include regular maintenance of the engine parts, tires, tubes, and flippers.

All the missing spare parts of the vehicles will also be sourced to make sure that the vehicles are ready to run at any time. CDA already has a 34-tanker fleet, and the 8 new vehicles are now added to that fleet, but they require work before they are functional.

CDA has been working towards ensuring that the supply of water does not get hindered for the residents of Islamabad amidst scorching heat. The water demand has now increased to 2 million gallons per day and CDA is trying to meet that demand at any cost.

CDA has ensured that the water supply is continuous during the Holy Month of Ramadan. The water shortage is a great concern for the citizens during Ramadan and this problem is addressed by the CDA.

CDA is working tirelessly to ensure that the water wastage is controlled, and they are encouraging the citizens to point out the violators. CDA has issued challans to the violators as well so that the wastage of water can be controlled.
