Bahria Town Karachi Offers 150000 Refund Against Registration Slips
Bahria Town has announced today (02/02/2014) that unsuccessful applicants of Bahria Town Karachi Residential Plots will get 150,000/- refund against their membership registration slips besides refund of their token money.
Bahria Town Karachi is receiving large number of applications for all of its announced property types, i.e. Residential Plots, Commercial Plots, Bahria Homes and Bahria Apartments. Majority of people usually go for residential plots, therefore, Bahria Town might have taken this measure as a precaution against public reaction after failure in balloting. There are expected to be about 1 million applicants, whereas the expected number of plots are up to 0.1 million (this is just an estimation). So, there will be a large number of people who will be declared unsuccessful after balloting, and they will feel bad about Bahria Town.
Therefore, Bahria Town has announced refund of 150,000/- to all applicants of bahria town karachi residential plots who do not come out successful after balloting. This announcement has made people at ease as many of the applicants have purchased forms later at market prices which had gone up to 2 lac rupees for the same form, whereas the actual worth was 15,000/- . So it will be a major loss for an average applicant who wanted to get a 5 marla plot in this scheme. Now, applicants can be at ease as they will either get plot or get 150,000 refund against the submitted form.
It is important to know that this refund is announced only for applicant of Bahria Town Karachi Residential Plots, not for other property types.
