The long standing issue of direct access through motorway m-1 to AWT Housing Scheme Islamabad has finally been resolved after the formal inauguration of Sangjani-Baswal Interchange on 27th Janurary 2017 by interior minister Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan.
This interchange will provide direct access to 3 main housing schemes lying across this part of interchange namely AWT, ECHS and Wapda Town. The project cost 650 million rupees that were contributed jointly by these three housing schemes.
Direct access was the major issue preventing investors from entering this area, however after this official inauguration, there are good prospects of investment growth within short period. There are also high expectations that growth will be quite stable and we will be able to see more population moving to these housing schemes for residence.
