Here is the promotional video of New Islamabad International Airport on Fateh Jang Road. This video is a virtual tour to the planned airport premises, including terminals, airplane hanger and area around the airport building.
It must be noted that this New Airport Project is around 78% complete and this airport has to be operational by June 2014. Cargo Terminal has already been completed and its passage from Thallian Interchange has been completed, Runways work was already completed, and now the work on Passenger Terminals is going on in Full Swing.
Airport Site can be visited through the PECHS housing Society on Fateh Jang Road, as CAA (Civil Aviation Authority) is using PECHS Roads to access the airport since no alternative way is available until the Kashmir Highway Project is completed which will lead up to the entrance gate of the airport and PECHS Housing Society will get a link road from Kashmir Highway to its other entrance gate on Jinnah Avenue Near Block M and K.
