Prime Minister Imran Khan inaugurated several residential projects worth 100 billion rupees under Naya Pakistan Housing initiative on 11th March 2020. About 20,000 housing units will be constructed for Federal Government Employees under these projects in Islamabad, Rawalpindi, Quetta and Lahore,Â
There are a total of 7 projects that were inaugurated in the first phase of Naya Pakistan Housing Program. There are 5 projects comprising 20,000 apartments, and 2 projects comprising 11,000 residential plots, as detailed below:
- Project Name: Chaklala Heights
- Location: Chaklala Scheme 3, Rawalpindi.
- No. of Apartments: 3592
- Project Name: Skyline Apartments
- Location: Main Boulevard, Airport Green Garden, Islamabad
- No. of Apartments: 3945
- Project Name: Lifestyle Residency
- Location: Bedian Road, Lahore
- No. of Apartments: 1302
- Project Name: Foundation Towers
- Location: Sector G-13, Islamabad
- No. of Apartments: 1100
- Project Name: PHA Foundation Housing
- Location: Kuchlak Road, Quetta
- No. of Apartments/Homes: 1350
- Project Name: Green Enclave-1
- Location: Bhara Kahu, Islamabad
- No. of Plots: 3282
- Project Name: Sky Gardens
- Location: Sky Gardens, Islamabad
- No. of plots: 5103
The government had already completed land acquisition and planning of these projects, and all units have already been allotted to government employees through computerized ballot.

This is the first phase of developments under Prime Minister’s housing initiative and it is meant to resolve housing issues of federal government employees. There are many more projects in the pipeline that are coming up in future for general public as well in order to materialize the vision of 5 million housing units in 5 years.
