The Capital Development Authority (CDA) is set to conduct an open auction for a variety of commercial properties. The auction will feature commercial plots across different sectors including Marakaz, E-11 Northern Strip, Blue Area, and I&T Center, G-11. Additionally, opportunities for petrol pumps/filling stations and shops in the Parking Plaza (Blue Area) are also included.
The auction is scheduled to take place over three days, from August 4th to August 6th, 2026, commencing at 10:00 AM each day. The venue for this event is the Jinnah Convention Centre, Islamabad. This presents a significant opportunity for investors and business owners looking to acquire commercial space in the capital city.
The CDA has outlined several investor-friendly initiatives to facilitate participation. These include a dedicated facilitation team for investors, building plan approval upon an initial 25% payment, and no site and marketing office charges during the CDA-approved construction period.
Furthermore, plot possession is offered upon 75% payment, with the remaining amount to be settled via a bank guarantee. The CDA also commits to providing facilitation for services such as electric lines shifting, sewerage upgradation, and land clearance.
Interested parties can obtain brochures from the One Window Directorate, designated branches of MCB, HBL, UBL, Askari Bank, and Bank of Punjab (BoP). Brochures can also be downloaded from the CDA website (www.cda.gov.pk) starting July 20th, 2026. The auction offers a 5% rebate on total payment within one month, and an additional 5% rebate in case of payment in USD.
Potential buyers are advised to review the specific plot details, terms, and conditions available in the official brochure and on the CDA website prior to the auction.
