ISLAMABAD: The Capital Development Authority (CDA) has announced a fresh balloting process to allot residential plots to eligible Islamabad land affectees. This initiative is being carried out under the Rehabilitation Benefits Framework 2023. Applications are being accepted from qualifying claimants until July 15, 2026.
According to a public notice issued by the Office of the Deputy Commissioner, CDA, residential plots will be allocated against approved land compensation claims in Sectors D-13, E-13, and F-13. The upcoming balloting will cover eligible land affectees from the villages of Maira Sumbal Aku, Maira Sumbal Jaffar, Shah Allah Ditta, and Pind Sangrial.
The CDA has directed all eligible claimants to submit their applications along with the necessary supporting documents to the Office of the Deputy Commissioner. It is important to note that only claims related to Shamilat (common) land will be considered, provided the partition process has already been completed by the Collector, Islamabad Capital Territory (ICT) under the Land Sharing Policy 2007. Claims that do not meet this specific requirement will not be included in this balloting.
Furthermore, the authority has stated that only applications received by the July 15, 2026 deadline and successfully re-verified according to applicable rules, policies, and official records will be included in the draw. Applications submitted after the deadline or those pending verification will be considered in a future balloting process.
The results of the balloting will be published on the official CDA website once the process is completed. Land affectees are urged to ensure timely submission of their applications to be part of this allotment round.
