CDA Completes Development Survey in Sector I-15/2 Islamabad, work to start after monsoon
According to news published in a local newspaper, Capital Development Authority looks forward to developing the sector I-15/2 Islamabad. For this purpose, a development survey was initiated by CDA to create development architecture for this sector and estimate development costs. This survey was completed on 23 July 2022. CDA will initiate the proper development after the monsoon season. Machinery has been deployed in the sector already by the authority.
Previously, the Capital Development Authority has already completed the development work in the other 3 sub-sectors of I-15 Islamabad. Now, development work on sector I-15/2 will kick off after the monsoon season. According to CDA officials, a timeline has been generated for this purpose and it is likely to be completed in 18 months. The total estimated cost for the development of this sector is around PKR 4 Billion.
Furthermore, CDA will award the plot possessions to owners after development is completed in sector I-15/2 Islamabad. The development work includes a sewerage network, construction of roads and streets, and installation of street lights, culverts, and other residential facilities. In the past, this sector has faced a lot of delays from the authorities in terms of development. However, CDA has now devised a development plan that will be implemented soon.
Plot owners who were waiting to construct houses will now be able to do so and shift here, moreover, the development of sector I-15/2 will also help cope with the ever-increasing housing demand.
