ISLAMABAD – The Jammu & Kashmir Cooperative Housing Society (JKCHS), Islamabad, has officially convened a Special General Meeting (SGM) for the year 2025. The meeting is scheduled to be held on Saturday, December 27, 2025, at 10:00 AM.
The venue for this important gathering will be the JW Marriott, Block C, Gulberg Greens, Islamabad Expressway.

The society’s administration has clarified that this Special General Meeting is exclusively for members and allottees of the following two projects:
- Agro Farming Scheme – Kashmir Gardens, Zone IV
- Residential Project – Khayaban-e-Kashmir II, Zone V

According to the officially released agenda, significant structural and administrative matters will be discussed, particularly those related to proposed mergers with Intelligence Bureau Employees Cooperative Housing Society (IBECHS), Islamabad.

- Review of Actions (2019–Present): Ratification and approval of all decisions taken by the Managing Committee concerning Zones IV and V since September 2019.
- Merger of Zone IV: Seeking principal approval for the amalgamation/merger of the Agro Farming Scheme (Kashmir Gardens, Zone IV) with IBECHS, Islamabad.
- Merger of Zone V: Discussion and approval of the draft Memorandum of Understanding (MOU)/Agreement between JKCHS and IBECHS regarding the merger of Khayaban-e-Kashmir II, Zone V, into Gulberg Islamabad.
- Financial & Tax Matters: Briefings on financial affairs, including decisions regarding the payment of outstanding dues, Capital Value Tax (CVT), and other applicable taxes related to land purchases in both zones.

The JKCHS administration has issued strict participation guidelines:
- Eligibility: Only registered allottees and members of Kashmir Gardens Zone IV and Khayaban-e-Kashmir II Zone V are permitted to attend.
- Required Documents: Attendees must bring their original CNIC along with the original Allotment Letter, Transfer Letter, or Plot File. Entry will not be permitted without these documents to ensure proper verification and security.
