
LAHORE: The Punjab Central Business District Development Authority (PCBDDA), also known as CBD Punjab, has officially launched its latest premium commercial project, “The Second Walk.” Positioned as the evolutionary successor to the highly successful “CBD Walk,” this new enclave on Route 47 (Main Boulevard Gulberg) offers a limited inventory of constructed retail plazas.
With a strictly limited inventory of just 20 units, the Authority has announced an electronic ballot system for allocation. The deadline for registration is November 28, 2025, creating a narrow window for high-net-worth investors and retail brands to secure a spot in Lahore’s most expensive commercial corridor.
A Shift in Strategy: Constructed Units, Not Plots
Unlike typical real estate launches that offer land files, “The Second Walk” is a Built-Up Property (BUP) offer. CBD Punjab is selling fully constructed commercial structures delivered in a “Shell & Core” state.
According to the official project dossier, the Authority will handle the heavy lifting of construction, delivering a building with a finished exterior, structural frame, and core utilities within one year.
What Buyers Get:
A completed structure comprising Basement + Ground + 2 Floors + Rooftop. This includes external facades, weather-tight doors/windows, and main entrance installations.

Eligibility Criteria (Who Can Apply?)
This offer is available to all Pakistani nationals (including Overseas Pakistanis), registered companies, private firms, and partnerships with a valid NTN. Foreign nationals and companies may also apply subject to fulfillment of PCBDDA terms.
How to Apply:
Prospective applicants must submit a Non-Refundable Registration Fee of PKR 150,000. Additionally, a pay order of PKR 16 Million (10% of total price) is required as “Token Money” to enter the ballot.
Note: If the applicant is successful in the ballot, the 16 Million adjusts into the down payment. If unsuccessful, the pay order is returned.

Technical Deliverables
To ensure architectural uniformity in the district, CBD Punjab has defined strict “Shell & Core” standards:
- Exteriors: Fully finished by the Authority.
- Utilities: Mechanical shafts and electrical risers provided; water/electricity brought to external “tap-off” points.
- Elevators: Shafts are constructed, but the installation of the elevator cabin/machinery is the buyer’s responsibility.
