CM Punjab has announced a grand and unique development package of Rs. 6000 crores, i.e. 60 billion rupees, for the very first time in the history of Lahore. The main objective of this wonderful package is to resolve long-standing infrastructural issues of Lahore and bring permanent relief to the people.
This mega development package has been dubbed as “Naya Lahore Development Package”, and it includes the following:
- Construction of 4000 apartments
- Building 10 under-ground water storage tanks
- Construction plan of a flyover from Railway Station to Sheranwala Gate
- Construction of a new 1000 beds Hospital near Arfa Tower
- Construction of a flyover in front of Kareem Block Market
- Building a flyover on Shahkam Chowk
- Construction of an underpass in front of Gulab Devi Hospital
- Construction of state-of-the-art bus terminal near Thokar Niaz Baig
