DHA Gandhara is one of the highly anticipated housing projects along Motorway M-2, Islamabad, that is scheduled to be officially launched in December 2025. While some sale purchase activity is already happening in the market for the LP (land provider) files, it is important to know the cost of transfer charges that will add to your total cost of purchase.
The LP file transfer is actually the first transfer of these files, whereby a land provider actually transfers his inventory issued against the land sold to DHA to a purchaser. The purchaser is not only required to clear the plot payment (whatever amount that may be as per the prevailing market rates), as well as the specified charges that are payable to DHA prior to the date of transfer.
The transfer charges include membership fee, stamp papers, affidavit, file preparation & miscellaneous charges, whereas the applicable taxes include purchaser tax (236k), provincial tax, and TMA charges.
