CDA Sector I/15 Islamabad 5,8 marla residential plots are available for urgent sale

Sector I-15 is a Capital Development Authority (CDA) initiated residential sector in Islamabad, designed primarily for low-income citizens. After facing significant delays spanning nearly two decades, the sector has recently seen substantial development and the initiation of plot possession handover to allottees.

Location

Sector I-15 is strategically located in the “I” zone of Islamabad, adjacent to other developed CDA sectors like I-14, I-16, and close to Rawalpindi via the IJP Road (now renamed Karnal Sher Khan Shaheed Road) and G.T. Road. This location offers good connectivity to both Islamabad and Rawalpindi.

Plot Sizes and Types

The sector mainly comprises residential plots of two standard sizes:

• 5 Marla (25×50): This is the most common size, originally intended for smaller housing units.

• 7 Marla (30×60): A slightly larger option available in certain sub-sectors.

Current Status and Development

As of late 2023 and early 2024, the CDA has made significant progress in I-15:

• Possession: CDA has officially started handing over possession of thousands of developed plots to their respective owners. Possession ceremonies have been held, marking a critical milestone.

• Development Work: Infrastructure development is in advanced stages, especially in sub-sectors I-15/1, I-15/3, and I-15/4. Works include:

  • Construction and carpeting of roads and streets.

  • Installation of sewerage networks and drainage systems.

  • Installation of street lights.

  • Provision of basic utilities like water supply is under process or nearing completion.

Estimated Plot Prices (March 2026)

Plot prices in I-15 have appreciated considerably since possession started. Prices vary based on sub-sector, exact location (e.g., corner, main road), and immediate possession status.
