Motorway City Islamabad Increases Development Charges
Motorway City Housing Scheme is an old housing project of Qazi Enterprises on Ratwal Road, Tehsil Fateh Jang. It falls under TMA Fateh Jang, but sometimes referred to as Motorway City Islamabad due to its proximity to the capital city. It lies close to Fateh Jang City and has Green City Housing Scheme in close neighborhood.
Motorway City has issued a notice through local newspapers regarding increase in development charges of plots. Earlier the development charges were low, but now the society has fixed development charges to 30,000 per marla. These development charges cover the cost of basic developments like roads, streets, leveling, and sewerage lines. Further charges for utility connections i.e. water, gas and electricity will be levied at a later stage.
This increase applies to all plot holders of Motorway City, including phase 1 to phase 5. Those regular members who have been paying development charges as per old schedule but couldn’t pay full amount till date, they will also be required to pay development charges as per new rates, i.e. 30,000 per marla.
It is important to note that revised development charges will be valid till 30-09-2018, and society may increase development charges after the given date.
