JKCHS Islamabad Elections to be Held on 21st June 2014
Jammu & Kashmir Cooperative Housing Society Islamabad is going to hold elections for the management committee on Saturday, 21st June 2014 at 9:00 AM in the morning at Khayaban-e-Kashmir Community Center in sector G-15 Islamabad.
The elections will be held for the following positions:
1- Chairman
2- Senior Vice Chairman
3- Secretary
4- Joint Secretary
5- Finance Secretary
6- Executive Members (4 positions)
Schedule:
Interested candidates can obtain nomination forms from the society office or the office of circle registrar cooperative societies, f-8 markaz, Islamabad from 15th of April 2014 to 29th of April 2014.
Last date for submission of nomination forms is 30th of April 2014.
Scrutiny of nomination forms will be conducted in the office of election commission cooperative societies, f-8 markaz, Islamabad at 10:00 AM on the 8th of May 2014 in presence of all candidates. All candidates must be present.
Those candidates, whose nomination forms would be rejected during the scrutiny, will be able to file an appeal to the registrar cooperatives administration complex G-11/4, Islamabad on 15th of May 2014. The hearing will be conducted on 22nd of May 2014 at 10:00 AM.
Candidates can withdraw their names until 29th of May 2014.
Final list of candidates will be released by Election Commission on 2nd June 2014.
Election of committee members will be conducted through secret ballot paper on 21st of June 2014 that will start from 9:00 Am in the morning and continue until 4:00 Pm in the evening.
Eligibility Criteria:
Anybody can take part in the elections who:
1- is over 21 year old
2- is mentally sound
3- is not convicted in any moral crime
4- is a member of the society
5- has not been a part of any suspended management committee under rule 48 of cooperative societies rules 1927.
6- doesn’t enjoy financial benefits from the society and not involved in real estate business.
Note:
Nomination Form and schedule is being sent to all members along with this circular. If any member doesn’t get the form, they can obtain it from the society office or the office of circle registrar.
