DHA Quetta Smart City New Booking Details, Location & Prices

Defence Housing Authority is all set to embark on its ambitious housing venture “DHA Quetta” as part of “Khushhaal Balochistan” initiative. The authority has launched bookings of residential and commercial plots, as well as farm houses on 4 years easy installments plan.

DHA Quetta is planned to be a modern housing scheme offering smart city features to the prospective residents. It lies at about 7 Km from Quetta International Airport and about 16 Km from Jinnah Road HBL Chowk at N 25.

The land area spans over thousands of acres in various mouzas including Kateer, Samali, Gadazai Malazai, Karak, Tarkha Gordat Singh, Mehtarzai, Chashma Baleli, Chashma Achozai, Sra Ghurghai, Sra Khula, Hanna, and Tor Ragha, including uninhabited areas of the valley astride Shaban Road up till Shamozai Dam.

This is the first official launch of DHA Quetta Smart City Phase 1, and bookings have just opened for multiple residential and commercial options. 

Application Procedure and Guidelines

Applications are invited from Pakistanis across the country and abroad, so now you can avail this exclusive investment opportunity to grab a residential or commercial plot in the first “Smart City” Housing Project in Quetta. Affordable apartments of 1000 sqft and 1200 sqft will be launched separately at a later stage.

Residential plots are available in the following sizes:

  • 5 Marla
  • 8 Marla
  • 10 Marla
  • 16 Marla
  • 1 Kanal
  • 2 Kanal

Commercial plots are available in the following sizes:

  • 4 Marla
  • 8 Marla
  • 1 Kanal

Farm Houses are available in the following sizes:

  • 4 Kanal
  • 5 Kanal
  • 8 Kanal

You will need to download application form online from DHA Quetta website, as a unique number is added to the form each time you download it. Therefore, you have to download two or more forms if you want to apply for two or more plot options. 

Please note that you cannot make copies of a single form, so just download as many forms as you need. It is important that you read all the instructions on the form download page, as well as the terms given on the form.

After you download the form, just take a print and enter required details. Challan forms are also attached within the form, so you will be able to submit your ballot fee along with the form. Each plot size in each category has its own specific ballot fee that you will need to deposit in order to apply for booking.

Following documents are required from each applicant category to be submitted along with the application:

  • General Public: Photocopy of CNIC
  • Overseas Pakistani: Photocopies of NICOP, OPF Card or Passport
  • Senior Citizen (Above 60 Yrs Age): Photocopy of CNIC
  • Govt. Employees: Attested Copies of Service Certificate, Book and CNIC
  • Retrd. Armed Forces: Attested Copies of Discharge Book/Retirement Order and CNIC
  • Disabled Person: Attested Copies of Medical Disability Certificate & CNIC
  • Next of Kin of Civil/Militry Shuhada: Attested Copies of Death Certificate, Medical Record, FIR and CNIC

After your form is ready, simply go to any TCS Courier Center, or any branch of Bank Alfalah, Allied Bank, Askari Bank, Habib Bank and United Bank across Pakistan to deposit your ballot fee and submit your form.

If you are living abroad, you can pay your ballot fee online using online bank transfer, or credit/debit cards. You have to attach a copy of the transaction reference number/transaction ID with the form before you courier the form to DHA Quetta Head Office.

Please note that given prices are exclusive of development charges, that will be applied at a later stage.

As you can see on the payment plan above, the payment plan spans over 4 years. After you come out successful in the ballot, you have to pay 10% down payment after 30 days of ballot, and 10% down payment after 60 days of ballot. After that, your 16 quarterly installments schedule will start.

Please note that it is mandatory for an applicant to be an active tax filer (except overseas Pakistanis) if he wants to apply for a commercial plot, farm house or residential plot size 1 kanal or bigger. So, non-filers can apply only in residential plots lesser than 1 kanal.
