Islamabad High Court has issued notices to CDA officials after complaints received from a civilian Sher Baz Khan. According to the petitioner, CDA should be stopped from opening any new sectors before completing development in previously launched sectors.
Sector E-12 was launched before 30 years, but still there is nothing on ground. CDA has completely failed to take possession of land in this sector. Many overseas Pakistanis had purchased plots in this sector thinking they would make their home here but many have passed away with their dreams unfulfilled.
CDA Chairman, Manager Estate Management and Director Land and Rehabilitation has been nominated in this petition.
Petitioner has asked the High Court to force CDA to start development work in this sector on urgent basis and hand over possession to allottees.
