CDA Launches Islamabad City App in Collaboration with National IT Board MoITT
Capital Development Authority has launched a mobile application for the convenience of people living or visiting Islamabad. This is a first GIS based indigenous official application which is meant to empower citizens to explore the city life of Islamabad. The mobile application is named “Islamabad City App” and it is available to download at google’s play store.
Islamabad City App is a perfect guide for tourists, as it locates your position on the map and guides you to many important places which you might need during your stay in Islamabad. It guides you through attractions of Islamabad, best travel agencies, restaurant and lodgings. Besides giving brief introduction and history of Islamabad, it guides you to nearest hotels, hospitals, doctors, library, gas stations, metro stations, schools, laundry, pharmacy, police station, parks, banks, ATMs, masjids and much more.
You can keep yourself up to date with upcoming events in Islamabad using this app. If you are new in Islamabad, you will never be lost as it guides you to your destination through maps.
The developers have integrated all the important information in one single application for the convenience of Islamabadians. The application has online complaint management system by which you can file your complaints with CDA. It also has options to report local crimes and cyber crimes, that will help law enforcing agencies to perform effectively. You can also find all emergency numbers in this app that you might need some day.
