Capital Smart City Gets Revised Planning Permission from RDA

Capital Smar City RDA Approved

Capital Smart City has finally obtained preliminary planning permission (PPP) of revised and extended area spanning over 17,602 kanals from Rawalpindi Development Authority (RDA). Currently, the society has NOC of approximately 7600 kanals of land which includes Overseas and Executive Blocks.

The addition of extended area will take its approved land area to approximately 25000 kanals, hence it will become one of the largest approved housing schemes in Pakistan.

Earlier this year, RDA had issued public notices and warned Capital Smart City to stop selling plots in non-approved blocks like Harmony Park and Overseas Prime Blocks. This extended area will include these new blocks as well as Block 2 of Overseas and Executive Blocks.

Once revised lay out plan is approved by RDA, FDH is likely to announce the most-awaited balloting date for residential plots. It is important to mention here that Capital Smart City had conducted balloting of residential and commercial plots only once in December 2019, while thousands of new members have been waiting since then to get plot numbers.
