Bahria Town Karachi comes up with an outstanding plan to build world’s 3rd largest Mosque (Masjid) and international university in the project site of Bahria Town Karachi. This is another step from Bahria Town towards the service of Islam.
Bahria Town has recently inaugurated world’s 7th largest Mosque (Grand Jamia Masjid) which has the capacity to serve 70,000 people to offer prayer and it is the largest Masjid of Pakistan.
This new project of 3rd Largest Masjid of the World is to be constructed keeping in view the architectural designs of Masjids in Turkey, Iran, Malaysia, United Arab Emirates & Kuwait. A modern Islamic Research Center, Islamic Museum, Islamic Cultural Center & an International University is also being constructed in this project.
This Grand Masjid will serve around 80 million people to offer their prayers which makes it the 3rd largest Masjid of the World, as Masjid al Haram in Makkah & Masjid-e-Nabwi in Madina are World’s first & second largest Masjids respectively.
The construction work of this Masjid will be commenced soon and a grand ceremony will be conducted for the ground breaking of this project.
