Procedure of Transfer of DHA Homes in Islamabad
« on: October 09, 2014, 06:12:04 PM »
DHA Homes are located in DHA Valley Islamabad. Mostly open files are being traded in the market, whereas some transferable files are also available which mostly people avoid due to complicated transfer process & high transfer cost.

It requires verification of file before transfer, it costs 500 rupees to submit your file for verification and it takes about a week for your file to be received after verification.

After verification, you can apply for NDC which requires documents of seller + purchaser. It takes about 2 days to get Dues statement.

You will need to hire a DHA registered dealer, who is authorized for file transfers.

After you receive dues statement, you will need to pay CVT which is 3%, Advance tax 1% (in case you have 8 marla home), and transfer fees (60.5K in case of 8M home)

Taxes are paid in State Bank of Pakistan, whereas transfer fee in paid in Askari bank.

After payment is made, you will get transfer date at which you will need to submit your transfer application and owner & buyer will need to be present to sign the transfer papers.

This whole process takes around 10 to 15 days.
